With the wedding season right around the corner, M.A.C Cosmetics presents an exclusive and luxurious Wedding Trousseau Service in India, for all the beautiful brides-to-be ahead of their special day!

With an individual step-by-step makeup lesson of 120 minutes, M.A.C artists will give brides all the tips and tricks to achieve a variety of desired looks; from natural for day, to a dazzling evening look and beyond. All captured in customized M.A.C face charts to take home.

And following each appointment - a glistening, gold wedding trousseau box will be given. This personalized box with flexible compartments allows for makeup to be protected and arranged as the bride wishes, making it highly personal. Rich in fabric - lined with red velvet - it includes a large mirror and a tasseled golden key which will serve as a complement to any bride’s trousseau.

The pre-booked service will be available at all M·A·C doors for Rs. 12,500.

My Views

With Mac you do get a guarantee of Quality and there makeup tips and tricks are one of the best. I was however a bit taken aback by the cost, I mean 12,500 just for the lesson?! So I asked and guess what?! "Customers availing of this service will get products worth 12,500 and they may choose the products as well."

So if you are a bride-to-be and were planning to buy MAC products anyways then this is actually a good deal. An Artist will work with you individually step-by-step for 2 hours.

I asked how many looks would be taught and is there a timeline to pre-book the session?

 " 3 Looks would be taught : Day look, evening look and a look for a reception by a Certified M.A.C artists present at the store. These appointments can be made throughout the year there is no fixed/ limited time period for this service. " 

Would I have availed this service if it was there in 2012, my wedding year?

My makeup trousseau list did contain foundation from MAC, and when I visited the store the sales assistant did a little trial makeup on me and I ended up buying a foundation, serum, primer, blush, eyeshadow and mascara. So yes the total bill was around 10k ( :O ). So if this service was available last year then yes I would have ended up taking it up, after all I am getting everything I wanted and at just an extra bit more for 3 different makeup looks, tips and tricks along with a MAC face chart to take home, plus a makeup box. That makes it a steal.
